UPDATED STATEMENT ON MEDIATION

AND MULTI-DISTRICT LITIGATION SCHEDULE

On February 29, 2008, the parties to the Multi-District Litigation informed the Hon. Noel L. Hillman that they were "hopeful that a comprehensive, cross-border settlement can be achieved" and requested additional time to pursue settlement. Judge Hillman has now scheduled a status conference for April 1, 2008, at 10 a.m., and has ordered: "this shall be the final adjournment of the conference, and if the parties' mediation has not been successful by that time, the case will proceed in standard course before this Court . . . ."
