Consumer Reminder to Check all Product Recall Information

The website provides product descriptions, UPC codes and Best Before dates.  Consumers are reminded to check all three descriptors, including the Best Before date, in order to determine if products have been recalled.  Products produced with Best Before dates after those recall dates are not subject to recall and have been produced using wheat gluten tested and shown to be free of melamine.

In order to bring safe product back to consumers as quickly and effectively as possible, some pouch products may have new UPC codes applied to the pouches.  This safeguard, along with others, has been adopted to ensure that post recall products are clearly delineated as safe.
